Who We Are

The Green Economy Network is a collaborative of over 200 employers, government agencies, educational institutions, think tanks, and workforce development providers working towards an environmentally sustainable and socially just economy, one where high quality jobs are carbon neutral.

We believe that a healthy green economy creates jobs & wealth, lowers emissions, and improves quality of life through better buildings, transportation, and other infrastructure. We connect employers who need skilled talent with talent developers who prepare New Yorkers for the Green Economy of the future.

As New York City and State implement plans for climate and equity, the Green Economy Network aligns data, policy, practice, workforce, and economic development. It has built a community of practice among organizations and people working in this space.

The Green Economy Network is powered by JobsFirstNYC.
